JULY UPDATE: Due to massive demand, we’re currently out of stock – don’t panic, fresh supplies are en-route right now.

Ah Redken, how we love you. You created a sheet mask just for our hair. You made a micellar water that cleaned all the pollution and built-up product right out of our tresses. And then there’s Pillow Proof, Diamond Oil,  and the ultimate hero One United.  Just when we thought you’d done it all, you release Redken Blondage onto the scene.  We collectively salute you!

Redken Blondage: The low-down

So what is this amazing new product? Well as every blonde knows, fighting brassy tones is a daily struggle. The Color Extend Blondage system contains ultraviolet pigment (yes it is purple) to neutralise and reduce brassiness. While Triple Acid Protein Complex fortifies the hair cuticle to minimise breakage. Oh and it also smells incredible, with top notes of crystal water, cooling breeze, apple and pear, and middle notes of white lotus, white jasmine and green lily (have we strayed into a fragrance post?!)

Redken Blondage: Tips

  • Does it contain sulfates? Yes, the new range from Redken DOES contain sulfates, to ensure the best possible cleansing experience. If you prefer a no sulfate option, Redken recommend using Color-Extend Magnetics.
  • For maximum benefits, Redken recommend leaving your second lather on for 3-5 minutes. Toning is completely customizable, meaning you can tone more often and longer for a cooler, ashier effect, or less frequently and for a shorter period of time for a quick anti-brass treatment for every level of blonde.
  • If you’re a lightened brunette, you’ll also love Blondage – you’ll still see a similar anti-brass effect, with the strengthening properties.
